Are printed weapon skins painted?

No. The designs are printed directly onto the molded gun in house.

Do printed guns fit minifigure hands?

Yes. They are the same molded guns, just printed, so they clip into a standard minifigure hand.

Are these safe for kids?

They make great gifts for builders, but they are small parts and are not suitable for children under 3.
